27th Letter

Why we would need a 27th letter? I don't know, but the project was more than appropriate for a typography class...you know. Its like wearin' waders in the swamp, you don't get any of that swamp water on ya and there's 99.8% chance of not catchin' any dirty diseases unless your in a pool then you need not any waders...ya know. Its like bacon and ice cream... It's just good.

iheartgraphics

This is a flier for you guessed it, the I Heart Graphics Forum. The one on the left is on a grid system and the right is free flowing, like when you get up in the morning.
Some changes would be...
Left: color, do something with the circles.
Right: the red "for", the one that is so noticeable that it makes no sense. Tap, tap the body of text in the red down to its home to be able to right justify a couple of bottom lines.
Some likes...
Left: the layout and type choice.
Right: the image and color

Semantics

Here is one I had fun with.
The idea if you don't know is to match the feeling to the picture and to have three pictures of the same thing, but not. Understand...sweet.
Even though the far right urinal and type didn't work out like i planed, it still worked.
See what-a-happen was. In the lab on the 4th floor you have to have type saved to outlines and I...didn't know and it has to be CS for the epson 3000. Crazy.

Package Design

How it went so wrong... People if you sit on your thumb you do have the power to reconsider your action. Just take it out. No one likes a smelly thumb...think about it who wants to smell their bum all day. If you do then there is more wrong with you then what was wrong with my project.

Book Cover

Barry fn' Lopez. This is a book of essays of his travels, family, friends...an assortment (its about his life, for crying out loud).
This was an accident...somewhat. I had a plethora of illustrative ideas and photo ideas, but I happened to be up in the mountains on a glorious rainy-misty day with my friend and when I got back I was looking through my photos and "wham-bam-thank-you-ma'am" its like getting home and your girlfrie...never mind. We will only have 1980s-PG13 content.

Poster

"The Bald Soprano", by Eugene Ionesco...whoa.
If you have ever read any of this guy's stuff and liked it then you enjoy dry-everyday-spoon- dropped-on-your-toe humor. This isn't a bad thing...you just like it. I did.
The play, from what i could conclude and remember, was about how life's little things are repetitive... i can't remember, thought lost. Sorry folks I'll have to look at my notes.
I enjoyed this a lot. The whole process, reading the play to making the poster. Few things: the info. text at the bottom needs a new home or just to be renovated. Title needs a kick here and a pull to line things up.

Logo

Let's see... This is my logo design, obviously, that i turned in for a grade. I will be changing a few things to correct the perspective and such.
It does have a feeling of retro, but i like it and where it could possibly go...nothing is never done; kind of like life, unless you can pull the trigger then who cares.

... and here we go.
